do you think the american idol results are as much a reflection of America or of just "lame people"? Like, everyone i know who i respect their tastes in music and art do not watch or vote in American Idol yet they are all Americans.

I don't watch most of it but from the summaries I had seen the one who won was just the better singer. Adam was the crowd favorite so I don't think the result of the show reflects who and what Americans like or dislike.

I think you have it exactly backwards. Adam was clearly the better singer and Kris was more of the crowd favorite, especially with the chicks. I agree with OnA when they said that Adam is like a soulless Broadway singer.
