Who do you think killed JFK?

I've read quite a deal on the assassination and do believe that Oswald was a patsy and that it was the CIA.

However, I'm wondering what your thoughts on one of the most famous conspiracies of all time.

I have it on excellent authority that JFK was killed by the forceful cessation of his heart and brain functions.

Oswald was certainly involved. Perhaps there were others.

Conspiracy theories are very popular, but they discount the fact that when 2 people know something it is no longer a secret.

I find it difficult to believe that something that has been investigated to this extent could have turned up nothing if there was something there to begin with.

I whole heartedly agree HK...once more than one person knows, it is next to impossible to keep secret quiet...I think that JFK was killed by a small Castro/CIA coalition that wanted Kennedy out of the way...Castro was pissed about Kennedy bullying Cuba. The Johnson people and CIA wanted to fight more in Vietnam. The roadblock being Kennedy and his popular support amongst people...Ole saying "the most complex problems have the simplest solutions".

For those who say that if more than one person knows about it, it would come out eventually, how many things do you think the government is keeping from us? I have friends who work on military bases and the stuff they can't tell you, they DON'T tell you. They have guys who won't even talk about stuff AFTER it's been declassified. Strange but true. I'm not a conspiracy theorist (although I do balance a bottle on the knob of my front door) but you have to admit there are some strange unanswered questions in connection with JFK's assassination. The "magic bullet" for example.

Oswald was certainly not the only man involved. Nobody knows for sure, so there is no point in guessing, but I whole-heartedly believe he did not act alone.

The organization as a whole did not plan that hit...there may have been rouge agents that used resources that were afforded to them as members...but not working openly within the CIA. Too many people would have known, and somebody would have leaked the truth. Too many people loved JFK. There is no way the CIA as a whole would have attempted a hit on the pres.

and..what was so friggin hard about that hit? A sniper took a shot from less than 100 Meters away..I could dot your eye with an M16 at 100M...the shot was not that difficult. Oswald was just a backup shot to the sniper that made the shot...or he was a spotter

I was just about to start a thread about this!!! I just rented JFK. I am 100% certain Oswald did not act alone, however some of the theories Stone went into were a little out there.

I know it's a little overdone, but come on; "Back and to the left." Not to mention the "Magic Bullet Theory." How do you explain those things?

When I was in high school, they had an assembly where some guy came in and talked about the assassination. He had a slide show and all kinds of data (this was before the JFK movie came out). Some of the photos were interesting and made you think.

There were a few of the guys on the other side of the fence who were described as "bums" but were exteremly well groomed, had trimmed hair and nails, but their clothes (except their shoes) were ratty. There was another one where someone was holding an umbrella (opened and over his head) and there was some kind of smoke right around it (some theorize it was a gun of some kind, and there are such devices in the spy business). There's a wealth of information pointing to conspiracy, or at the very least the possibility that someone else other than Oswald was attempting or succeeded at assassinating JFK. Big-Ass field trip to the warehouse where the volumes of the Warren Commission reports are located?

And the Warren REport is nothing but a lie.Well, I've only perused a few chapters, mostly of "the shots", and i think that some of it is kind of hard to follow.

The thing is- we will never know the truth, but it is still interesting to see what theories various people come up with.
