I like em, but if I never had another, I think I could live. But they are damn good.

Perogies = Polish Raviolis
There may be a joke there, but Polish jokes are passe.

Most people only know them filled with potato and onions, but the best ever is done another way and I suggest people try it.

Pot cheese filled smoothered with butter, salt and onions. I can't even BEGIN to explain how good these mother fuckers are, but you'll look like Moe in two weeks if you don't practice moderation so be forewarned.

My Polish grandmother used to make them stuffed with plum. That is heaven on earth.

Pierogis are one of my few go-to quick meals when I don't feel like cooking. If Mrs. T's disappeared I think I'd just be left with mac and cheese and that would suck greatly.
Pierogies fried in butter, with some sauteed onion, bacon, and sour cream is on of the greatest meals ever (maybe even some green peas to mix into the sour cream  )

Moe has been looking good actually, I think he lost weight. My friends mother used to make these when I was a kid, and damn they were good! In that video you hear the womans daughter comparing them be to wontons, and I have noticed many cultures have a variation of this type of pocket of food. Almost always it is good.

Most cultures seem to have a form of pierogies, flat bread, and donuts. I call them universal foods.

My Mom makes them from recipes she got from my Grandmother. Other than potatos, she fills them with Sauer Kraut or mushrooms. The best I've ever had! She also tops the potato ones with a mushroom gravy.

Polish soul food.

One of my standby barbecue apps are grilled perogies :

Par boil Mrs. T's until just soft, drain and cool on paper towels.
Lightly brush with olive oil and toss on a hot grill.
Grill until brown and puffy.
Top with fresh salsa and a dollop of soul cream.

I could probably live without perogies. Golabki though, a completely different story...

I'll bet $10 that this is yet another delicious food that Gvac is going to hate.

I'd wander my kitchen aimlessly.

My parents live in an area often referred to as "Pollock Alley" and I am sure to buy perogies anytime I am in the neighborhood. There are some great Polish delis there too.

Yeah the Mrs. T's are nice and easy to make the cheddar and potato are great, mixed with a cut up ham steak and alfredo sauce
