The comedian Rich Hall used to do a segment called "Sniglets" on an HBO comedy series years ago called "Not Necessarily The News". "Sniglets" were words that were not yet invented. Some of them were so memorable, I still remember them! 2 of my favorites were:

Motspur - the one wheel on a food shopping cart that refused to co-operate with the other 3

Flen - the mysterious goop that appears at the top of a ketchup bottle

I still use these words today, as if they're real.
