he is either going to work on it before or after a film about jersey suburban life he is planning on called "Jersey Girl" ( i think thats the working title) this will be his SECOND non-comedic film, not his first like many think (his first was a yet to be released film called Vulgar)

smith is also working on a clerk prequel, it will be animated like hte serise but will have cursing and wackier bits (since it will not be a tv release)

He didnt write Vulrgar hes producing it Brian johnson wrote and directed it he also plays a small role in it to

Jersey Girl will be the first View Askew "period piece", as it takes place in the mid-to-late 80's or early 90's. No official casting has been made for the film, so far. Jamie Anderson will be the DP. The flick will likely not be released until sometime in 2003.
