I might check it out a bit, but not the whole thing. As noted above, this isn't like Carson going off to retirement. He's going to be back soon, and we'll get more of his big-ass chin than we can stand.

I won't watch him, I just watched "The Night Shift" a few days ago, and it soured me even more on Leno then I was already. I always felt that the whole deal with Letterman and Leno was just shady and I watched Letterman after he moved to CBS.

Now with the deal that Leno struck I feel is again shady and Leno just wants more money and more attention and doesn't get he should retire. I will watch Conan when he premiers his new show though, Conan deserves The Tonight Show.

i haven't been listening to the 202 shows so i don't know if O&A have goofed on this (because they have goofed on him in the past) but this was the most embarrassing 4mins of my life..i couldn't look directly at the computer screen without feeling terrible about myself this bit is sooooo bad

Well, it's not exactly the end of his career, just the end of him hosting that show. He's no Carson, so I was glad it wasn't really a hour and a half of how great he is, because he's not really.

10 years from now, if he's still hosting and "retires". Then he deserves the big send off.

And that whole ending of showing of HIS legacy - somehow he became Oskar Schindler, and all of those lives are a direct result of HIM and HIS show! Him laying down on the floor at the end was phoney and icky - you just know he has no idea how to interact w/ children.

Let's hope Conan doesn't water down his show, but I think he won't have a choice - it's going to be a shame that he has to be in Los Angeles with their SCREAMING audiences - the big thing I hate with any of the live shows from the west coast.
