I believe this is related to a substance we've mentioned before in these forums: semenogelin. This is a protein that coagulates semen after (and sometimes before) ejaculation. I deduce it's purpose is to keep jizz in the vagina, thus increasing the chance of fertilization. Since the secretions in the vagina are watery, it also makes sense that this protein is suited to coagulate in the presence of H2O.

In rats, semenogelin acts to make a spermacidal plug in the vagina, keeping subsequent males from impregnating the female.

I'll look into this further and see if I've missed anything.

im willing to bet that dr,steve enjoys the life he has.... being a super hero is so demanding . he would have no time for clipping dandelions. surgeon general strikes me as a thankless job and does not come w/o great political pressure , which gets in the way of truth.
