The only time I ever tried calling the show was back on the WNEW days when they were discussing Sopranos. I thought I had a pretty good point, but Billy Staples told me they had moved on from the topic. They proceeded to then talk about the show for about 15 more minutes. :( I guess it wasn't that good a point.

I would love to call today, since I can actually listen live, but I just don't have the balls. I would be one of those stuttering stammering callers, who ends up saying hi to their own name. Then you would hear my voice get tight, I would audibly choke on my own saliva, before I would probably pass out and hit my head on my work desk.

back in 94 or 95 i once called the hooters show as the dishwasher dude with a top ten reasons susan smith drove her kids into the lake call. not only was i bashed for 2 hours on that show but people kept calling the lassiter show to bash me,then ronny b made me write up a top 1000 list on "im a horrible person",took me 2 weeks,it was my first inventory and made me a better person,live and learn
