Now that Friday's call has been brought up, just how many threads will our buddy Chuckwagon start today?

I don't think he will start any.
I think he will barely post.
I can see how fez was upset, but I also am fully aware that what Lenny was doing was a bit. Every poster who "asked" about the pictures in question should be equally responsible for the continuation of the "bit".

yes
and also change the thread title
to:
How Many Threads SHOULD Chuckwagon Start Today?
cause then we'll have 100% for 0

Sadly, I agree. Itll be zero.
Fez has taken the wheels off of the chuck wagon.
worst part is, he and dave think it's a good idea to attack a fan who didnt even do anything.

I think he realizes this whole thing has become tiresome.

...except that whole thing of creeping out a pretty decent sized part of the fanbase to the point where someone would imitate him to bring down the wrath of Fez.
It's stupid someone had to do that, but Chuck isn't entirely innocent in all this.

So if someone called in as Matty Fridays and said they hope theres another holocaust, youre at fault for having outlandish ideas in the past?

I'm not denying I put myself out there as well. But I don't intentionally go around with a one-trick hack joke that's been driven into the ground for the past six months. I also don't have a gimmick where I stalk the hosts.
Besides, any call that Fakey Fridays puts in would be better than any of mine in the past 2 years.

I just feel for the wagon.
It doesnt really matter if the joke was funny or not.
If Fez had a problem with it, there were much much classier ways to handle it.
I'm sure if he had mentioned it on air that it creeped him out and wanted it to stop, chuck wudda stopped it.
But imagine, there you are, enjoying your day and someone calls in as you to irritate Fez, and Fez goes off, not on what was just said by fake you, but on your entire existence, and your wife, etc... and not in a jokey joke manner either. It would hurt.
Then, add to the fact that even after admitting he went off on the wrong guy, he still stands by everything he said about you. Terrible.
Hey--if thats how Fez feels then thats how he feels... but I can understand why CW would feel like shit..and frankly, I'm saddened that my favorite radio show was the reason.

I always thought Fez kind of made clear on the air that he disliked the bit and found it annoying. That was always the vibe I got, at least.

You have a much better memory than anyone when it comes to this, but I have listened to every hour of every show for at least the past year, and I don't remember that being the case. In fact, I have a hard time remembering Fez ever addressing the bit in the past. It's not like he used to spend much time posting, and how many threads could he have read in the dialup days?

I remember a call when CWC made some reference to the turkey trot and Fez acted kind of annoyed by it and made some comment about CWC afterwards.

I recall 1 response in the "Ask fez fez" thread, and maybe a huff and puff when Chuck has called. That's about it.

You must not have been listening closely. Fez was annoyed with CWC trying to be funny. It's a shame a fake call brought heat down on him, but it was set up to bite him in the ass anyway.

well..ok...I guess I can remember him acting like he didnt like cwc, but I really thought it was a gag, like when bobo calls, etc... as far as I know, he never came out and said stop, or he couldve written a pm to cwc asking him to stop. I dunno. Just think it couldve been handled better.

Also, given Fez's sensitivity about his picture on the internet (photoshop Mike notwithstanding, but he has bugged out about his picture before, namely when they did an appearance in DC and someone took video or snapshot when he wasn't looking AND the homeless shopping spree) I could totally see how Chuck's gimmick would make Fez uncomfortable.
Fez thought he was doing a solid for a fan, when the fan then makes a nice moment uncomfortable and creepy. For SIX MONTHS.
Say what you want about Jezo, at least he changes his bits up. CWC wasn't even smart enough to do that.

I think anyone would have to agree with Chris that it could have been handled better. There's no reason to go after a guy's wife.

Yeah, Fez would always make a comment about how creepy chuckwagon was after his calls. He's definitely mentioned the creepiness many times before.

Loved today when Fez said something like "i hate the .net bits and characters". Advice from a comedy professional

It's very simple.
When Fez is FEZ at an event or you've been invited into the studio, he expects you. He is "Radio Fez" for that time.
When you see him in public, he does have the right to not deal with you, just as any person does. I'm sure he'll say HI, but the fact you might have semi-stalked him to a public event isn't 100% cool either. I don't think he said "I'll be doing the Turkey Trot this weekend and invite ALL OUR LISTENERS in the area to come out and make the event about me instead of the charity."
I agree with Matty that Chuck has set this weirdness up to eventually come down at some point. Shame it was someone else and it's a shame it happened on air, but so be it.
No matter how many he starts it's not enough in my opinion.
There's not a more loyal fan out there.
Shame on Fez and anyone else who thinks otherwise.
