Do you freelance on Guru? It's a website where people who need design/illustration/writing/animating and any other thing that can be freelanced post projects and pick who does them based on a submitted proposal.
I started an account to make $ on the side, but I have already have mixed feelings.
Freelancers? Opinion?

I have been on Guru for about a month. I have not gotten a project yet, but I keep bidding when I get alerted to something that matches my skill sets. I work in the CAD drafting/architecture fields, and what is most frustrating is that it always seems that some guy from India or someone from the Midwest is able to undercut my bid because they go and charge like $7 an hour. So, I just keep my eye out on Guru, and post my services on craigslist at the same time hoping to get some freelance work,

Im into video production, a friend of mine told me they had listings for those gigs on their. I might check it out and see if this is true. He claims to have made a couple hundred bucks doing web design on their.
