I think it was smokestack lighting by the yardbirds using Napster during the free era.

How can you remember that? There is far to many, I have no clue. My old computer is nothing more than a jukebox that I have collected my mp3's on. The "reserve unit" Loved napster and lime wire

Mike, I love your sig vid, it is always distracting and makes me laugh!

because getting free music was really exiting. It wasn't like John Mayalls collection was at my fingertips being up here. Napster was a godsend and I remember a lot of good finds.

I think it was one of those demo mp3s of some jazzy shopping at the mall type music.

Lollipop, by Aqua.

Seriously.

Yes, I know. I am a homosexual.

I just wanted an mp3 to test my Winamp out, so I got into an AOL mp3 room and looked at the dude's list, and this was the first song on there.

Once I found the Internet Archive I dowloaded ~1 G of soundboard Grateful Dead shows from 1965-1995. Some are still un opened but they are all sitting on an external hard drive. A couple years ago the band stopped allowing soundboards to be downloaded free. That way they can sell them but I have some of the greatest shows they ever performed. Not everyone idea of great but I like it.
