I've also noticed he's saying where every caller is from lately, ie "Joe from Utah" or "Ed from New York."

They also seem to be stressing that they're giving a "tease" before every commercial break.

Do you think the bosses, in their infinite wisdom, are trying to tell Ron and Fez how to do radio?

Sirius will ask the show to do certain things that have made other parts of their business successful, and the show staff will oblige in order to keep their steady paycheck. They may be reluctant to do so, but will do it just to play within the rules. You can tell that Ron doesn't like doing the teases into commercials, especially when it includes a listener call because 90% of those calls are dog shit. And yes, you are part of that 90%

I dont think anyone is saying it is. I just think its very noticable that there has been some corporate input in how THEY feel Ron & Fez should do their show. Its also pretty obvious Rons not thrilled with their ideas on how to make the show better.

The thing is, none of these changes are new. All they do is make Ron and Fez sound a little more like every other generic show on horseshit FM radio. Im surprised they dont have them doing time and weather 4 times an hour too.

Well put, and I agree, but as you concluded with the show adapts very well to change. It's the ones that don't that blend in with the rest and just get lost in the shuffle. Reminds me of what a once great pair of radio show hosts used to say. You'll become a "Hack that can't adapt".
