Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka

This has to be the most dangerous product on the market right now.

It's vodka, except it tastes like sweet tea, 70 proof. The mixing directions on the bottle are 1 part vodka, 1 part water, and then you have an alcoholic tea drink. Long island iced teas have nothing on this stuff. Mix it with a little iced tea, squeeze in some lemon, and you are due for some trouble.

Somehow I managed to drink about a half a bottle of it over the weekend, things didn't end up too well a few hours later. I had no idea I was drinking so much until I poured out the last drop and noticed that it was empty.

Anyone else partaking in this?

Had some of this 3 weeks ago at my friends bar....Blue Ruin over on 40st and 9ave in the city. Its the only bar in NYC where you'll get the stuff.
Had some of it mixed with some Snapple Lemonade......yummmmay!!!

I just don't bother to mix alcohols. This stuff is very good though, goes down fuckin' SMOOTH. I just tried some over a friend's house but if I was drinking it one night, I could see myself getting shitfaced way too quick on this stuff.

I had some when I was down in Baton Rouge this weekend and it's awesome.

The Sweat Tea one is the one I had and it was fantastic. It tasted just like any sweat tea you've ever had.

You can't even tell it's a vodka because there's almost no alcohol taste despite the fact that the stuff is 70 proof ( I think ).

I can see the stuff being dangerous because it'd be easy for a person to knock back a bottle in a night.

I'm not sure if it's being carried in bars/liquor stores in the Northeast but their site says they sell it in Orange CT so I'll be going there to get some.

Try it out if you can find it.

I was actually drinking this stuff last night at work.

Mixed it with some Peach Shnaps, Lime Juice, and some Sour Mix. Came out awesome.

i do my best to avoid this stuff. it's wayyyyyyyyyyyy too soft and subtle and it really does sneak up on you. you can easily knock back a 750 of it in under half an hour. dangerous stuff. may possibly be the quintessential liquid panty remover

I saw some wierd bourbons when I as in the liquor store this weekend.

I ordered this at a local bar a few weeks ago and they told me they didn't have it but said they had something called " Jeremiah Weed Sweat Tea Vodka ".

So I took a look at the bottle and saw that it was from Norwalk CT and figured it was a bootleg local version.

But after figuring it out I realized it was put out by Diageo which has a corporate office in Norwalk.

It wasn't bad. Pretty much the same thing as Firefly.
