Recently, I have had some awesome dreams: flying, being in foreign countries, the ability to control fire. But this one I felt like sharing.

I am in the jungle, running, and I have no idea why. I then hear gun shots, and trees are being shredded. I turn my head and see an elephant knocking over trees and looking crazy as all hell. Men in turbans and underwear are chasing along side the elephant. The jungle begins on a decline, and through the trees I see a car lot. It's tons of used cars. I hear screaming - it's very familiar, it's my grandparents and my father. They are on top of the elephant in a box, shooting muskets at me. They are all dressed in 1850s exploration attire, my grandfather has a big ass monocle. I get out of the jungle, and start to dodge in between cars, but they know where I am. I see that the elephant has grown over the jungle and is knocking cars out of the way. I am scarred shitless. My dad gets out and smells the ground to find my tracks, and points in my direction. I see docks heading to the ocean - i make a run for it. I suddenly realize that I can fly ( don't know why i didn't fly before), and shots are fired. they nicked my arm and i fall into the ocean - where a pokemon's mouth is open, waiting.

I wake up. Jesus, what the fuck does that all mean?

Anyone else want to share their odd dreams?

I've only seen this work once, but we ended up having to break a halogen headlight to get the souls back. It can be messy.

I dream every night, and typically remember them in the morning. My dreams either involve sex with random men, but lately I have been dreaming of women, hmmm....

Otherwise my dreams are about missing classes in high school because I can't remember my schedule. Oh, and the last type of dreams are that I am late for my job or forget to go to my job at the Dairy Queen.

Strange...I rarely have sex, I don't go to school, and I don't work. I must need a life.

I had a very puzzling dream last night, and unfortunately I was awoken right in the middle of it.

It involved someone I barely know - the owner of a store I go to maybe once or twice a year. In my dream I visited her establishment, but it was much different. The store was larger and laid out in an entirely new way, with what seemed to be an enormous back room. There was a lot of noise coming from there, like a party or convention was going on.

When she emerged from the back to greet me, she looked very sickly, like she was dying.

She remembered my name, and was very happy to see me. She said we had to talk.

That's when I woke up.

I am in the jungle, running, and I have no idea why.

the "jungle" is your subconsious assessment of your current living environment. it is a jungle out there. vague, dense, difficult to naviagate through. you feel lost more often then not. many dangers unforeseen in the jungle. snakes, tigers, etc. you fear your environment.

I then hear gun shots, and trees are being shredded. I turn my head and see an elephant knocking over trees and looking crazy as all hell.

the "gun shots" are anxiety laden thoughts unresolved in your conscous state.

Men in turbans and underwear are chasing along side the elephant.

"men in turbans" are your post 9/11 post traumatic stress reaction. you see a turban and you think terrorist. the "elephant", if you will, is the uncontrollable, large danger that visually scares you.

in your mind you have not lived up to their expectations. (probably spending too much time on this website). interesting you see them using muskets. an antiquated weapon. in your mind, your father and grandfather employ antiquated ways of dealing with problems. in your mind, you are problem to them. you never quite lived up to their expectations. as a result, their aiming their 'muskets' at you is their way of showing disapproval in the path you have chosen. the ironic thing here is that they are/were both very proud of you. it's in your mind that you feel that you have not lived up to their expectations. despite whatever lifestyle changes you have decided to embrace, they love you unconditionally.

your grandfather in using a monocle illustrates a myopic view on life. in your mind. although you loved your grandfather, you disgagreed with his unwavering, strict, unyielding philosphies on life. from social issues to politics.

you fear that as you get older, your ideas, philopshies are becoming increasingly similiar to your fathers. all of that preaching and teaching has apparently seeped into your inner psyche by way of osmosis. you fear that you are in fact-becoming your father. with all of his prejudices and ignorance.

I see docks heading to the ocean - i make a run for it. I suddenly realize that I can fly ( don't know why i didn't fly before), and shots are fired. they nicked my arm and i fall into the ocean -

the ocean symbolizes freedom and always a way of finding an escape from peril. water always finds its way. regardless of whatever obstacles thrown in its path, water will create a way around it. despite their best efforts, you have stuck to your own guns and "flown"
away. on your own path.

Last night I dreamed I was at a beach house and I was packing up to go home cause vacation was over. As I was packing up I was dumping boxes of legos into smaller boxes for some reason (not suitcases mind you, just boxes) and I realized that the bigger boxes were filled with insect eggs and it became a race against time to dump the legos into smaller boxes before they hatched, only to at the end before waking up that a bunch of eggs were hidden inside the legos and had made it into the smaller boxes.

i had a dream last night that i was at a professional conference in a shopping mall (odd in itself) and a huge (i mean big as a small bear) raccooon made its way in the mall. people thought it was cute and kept trying to feed it and pet it, even prodding their little children to approach it. i was running toward the crowd screaming for them to back away so as not to spook it and that it might have rabies. as i got closer it turned on the crowd and began slashing them in their faces with its long razor-like claws. blood and screaming and general chaos insued.

now it gets wierd.

somehow my 2 dogs and cat got in there and were trying to help me get the wild beast. my cat jumped into some ladies arms and the beast attacked the lady, almost getting my cat. my dogs began circling the raccoon trying to corner him at the wall. i found a large burlap sack and got ready to capture this monster. then, the police step in front of me and gun the raccoon down. like 50 shots at least.

i then decided to go to the beach with my dogs and cat. i bought popcorn on my way out of the mall.

i woke up with my heart pounding against my chest and very heavy breathing.

i've been having a lot of sex dreams lately though and they mostly involve girls but i usually never have sex. i actually feel guilty in my dreams thinking i am cheating so it almost never happens and i wake up. boo.

I had really disturbing dreams last night. At least 4 people died, 3 of them I knew and were from the same family. Two of them by getting eaten by a shark while we, his wife and other kid watched. Another one of them was a stranger that was on the street who got in a fight and got stabbed in the eye.

The night before that I had a dream that a bunch of people including friends and family were "posessed" just like in True Blood. Their eyes started turning black and I was the only one left that was normal.

I wonder what the hell is going on in my brain while I'm asleep.
