what's up with the openers on r&f? Am I the only one who thinks they suck? the same tired flicks followed by some bullshit indy crap. How about a scene from cronenberg followed by a six feet under tune?

Is this post a joke, or a character or something? I haven't been around here that long, so I can't tell.
While we are on the subject, Mooch's openers are the best on any radio show ever. He does amazing work. Special Delivery needs to hire him quick before Ron and Fez or some other show does.

Death Metal doesn't really play well with the majority of R&F listeners - this might explain why they aren't playing Six Feet Under. That, or death metal doesn't really say "here comes a fun radio show". You pick

Ah. Six Feet Under is a band! I thought he wanted to use this as the opener.

I say keep up the good work, Chris Stanley and Mooch.
I also think they've played Cronenberg drops before- Maybe History of Violence or Eastern Promises. I wouldn't mind a little Videodrome though..

That's a joke post, right?
With the exception of a couple of special days, I haven't heard the same opener twice in three years of listening to the xm show.
Good first post, silly.

How about a clip from Armageddon into a little Nickelback.

The openers on the show are almost always fantastic.
I'm not metal hater, but that's like the worst possible music to use to open up a talk radio show that you want people to stay tuned in for.

Hole - Doll Parts.
A brilliant song. I never liked anything else Courtney Love ever did, but that song is so raw and real. The emotion hits me every time.
