FIFA Confederations Cup 2009

This is a 8 team tournament in South Africa. Its basically a warm up to the World Cup. In Group A is: Spain, Iraq, New Zealand and South Africa. In Group B is: Brazil, Italy, USA and Egypt.

Yeah, but soccer teams pull that shit all the time: they attack the first half, get a lead, and then spend the second half trying to hold on.

The nature of soccer does kind of make it hard to attack the whole game, but soccer teams really get super cautious. The World Cup final game often seems like both teams are content to let it end 0-0 and settle things with penalty kicks.
