I have bought a bunch of stuff over the past month on iTunes. I probabably spent like $100.00 on different apps and songs and I wonder if this spending is helping our economy in any way. Does it keep anyone employed or have any impact on helping us out in the economic situation we are in? Or, does it just help out Apples bank account? Just curious.

I guess it would be similar to a trickle down effect of economic stimulus.
You buy the app, that pays apple, who in turn pays the creator the app, who in turn spends money to buy a car, who pays someone to build that car, who in turn buys a bag of weed, which in turn funds terrorism.
So really you hate America.

other than the part going to apple, i'd think the money would tend to go more to small business app developers and everyone seems to have a hard-on for small businesses (while hating those same businesses if they ever do well enough to become big).

Most of it goes to the riaa.
Who just sued a lady for 2mil. for 24 songs.
Dont support riaa by buying itunes.
And the riaa seem to have a memory lapse about this extra money everytime a case comes up.
