Another dead celebrity, third this week, second one today... What is it going to take for these god damned liberals to just step down from power?
I mean, this current administration has seen pirates take over an American ship, GM, Chrysler, and Six Flags file for bankruptcy, the passing of the largest spending bill in the history of this nation, and now the King of Pop Michael Jackson dying of cardiac arrest. He obviously died because he was shocked by the acceleration of this country's transformation into a socialist Third World country, and the utter vitriol that the drive-by media has for any Conservative willing to stand up for what we as a country should be fighting for.
And of course, the media has to put all their attention to his death, in order to cover up for President Obama's failure to prevent his death. I mean, when you have socialized health care, this is what you get; the King of Pop dying at the age of 50.

That's the problem with this country. For all the money the stupid libs want to government to throw at our problems, people still die, and that's is just not acceptable for me, as a Conservative. We have a Right to Life, and these god damned libs want to take that right away, just like they took away our Right to Bear Arms. And this story is the perfect example... a man who was beloved by everyone, who loved everyone, ends up dying of cardiac arrest, just so happens to happen after electing a Democrat to the White House, the first black President at that. Coincidence????

“We knew something like this would happen!!
Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance from his Holmby Hills home to a nearby Los Angeles hospital on Thursday afternoon!!
Supposedly, the singer went into cardiac arrest and the paramedics had to administer CPR!!!
His mother is even on the way to visit him!!!
We are dubious!!
Jacko pulled a similar stunt when he was getting ready for his big HBO special in ‘95 when he “collapsed” at rehearsal!
He was dragging his heels on that just like his upcoming 50 date London residency at the 02 Arena, of which he already postponed the first few dates!!!
Either he’s lying or making himself sick, but we’re curious to see if he’s able to go on!!!
Get your money back, ticket holders!!!!”

I know everyone says he's a creep, and he's an alleged child molester... the way I see it, the dude never had a childhood, he's been in the performance spotlight since he was 5, his dad was an abusive dick... the guy never got to have a childhood, and his development was stunted from that point on... of course that's going to make him a fucking weirdo. I don't think anyone would live at an amusement park JUST for the sake of getting kids to come over so he could touch them on their penises. He liked hanging out with kids because his mind had been damaged that he was a 10 year old living in a 50 year old man's body, to him, the kids were like hanging with his peers.
That all seems obvious. Someone fucked with him and he was trying to cope in an unacceptable manner. His wealth and fame allowed him to become a freak. Had he been a janitor he probably would have been arrested for pinching the first kid's ass and never gotten out of the system.
Is there any news the heart attack was from natural causes? 50 seems awful young for someone who seemed healthy and fit, physically, their entire life.

It's not a matter of what's enough and what's not... the dude got fucked up in the head as a kid, and his mind never developed normally. He got stuck thinking like a child, never mentally developing sexual thoughts, adult thoughts... when he married Lisa Marie, that was like when we used to have play marriages as kids, you just end up divorced a little while later when you're done playing...

Doctors say that 50 and above is a pretty common age for heart problems to occur. It also didn't help that he had tremendous amount of plastic surgery, stress from numerous trials, stress from the attention of the entire world, 3 kids, lupus, Elizabeth Taylor, etc.

I don't know, his predilection his children might definitely be something that was ultimately shaped by his screwed up childhood and the the life that followed.
That's not to excuse it, but this seems like a profoundly damaged person so who knows how that played into his understanding of his sexuality and just sex and sexuality in general.
All in all, it's a shame that things just went as bonkers as they did over the last 20 years because the guy made some amazing music. Being born in 1979, I never knew a time when he wasn't just this enormous star and musical force. He was basically like Star Wars for me: this unfathomably gigantic pop culture entity that just seemed unbeatable that just seemed like it had always been there when I was a kid.

Did I ever tell you about the time when I went to the store to buy some matches? You'll never believe how funny it is, what happened when I got there. Anyway, I was sitting on my front porch at my cabin because I decided earlier that day to leave Buffalo for the weekend and go enjoy some wilderness and drink a lot of beer. While driving down I saw a few birds, deer and even a red fox. But, I digress, I was sitting on the front porch of my cabin when I realized I didn't have any matches to light my cigar. I had got the cigars on my way down too. They were from Honduras but I still needed to light them. So, I jumped into my car and headed into town, but my cabin is actually located in a position that is almost exactly 9 miles from three different towns and all are in different directions. HAHAHA!!!! So, I wanted to flip a coin to determint which town to go to but no coin is three sided. One time though, I saw a three sided pair of dice. They only went to three, go figure.

Time for some of the stupider reactions to Michael Jackson's death -- first, there's Chad Johnson (I refuse to call him "Chad Ochocinco")'s tweet:
"Okay, first Mrs. Fawcett now Mr. Jackson, please tell me that this is a mistaken rumor, if not this is just as sad as 9/11 ...
Yeah, the death of a weirdo pop star who'd been in ill health for years is as sad as the day America suffered the worst terrorist attack in history. What a douche.
And then there's true douchebag "Perez Hilton", showing why people punch him in the face with its initial reporting on the early reports of Jackson's death:
We knew something like this would happen!!
Jacko pulled a similar stunt when he was getting ready for his big HBO special in ‘95 when he "collapsed" at rehearsal!
He was dragging his heels on that just like his upcoming 50 date London residency at the 02 Arena, of which he already postponed the first few dates!!!
Either he's lying or making himself sick, but we're curious to see if he's able to go on!!!
Get your money back, ticket holders!!!!
Just ignoring the horrid content, anyone who uses that many exclamation points has to be a douche.
And check out the idiotic scrawling on a picture of Michael Jackson:

I'm not a Michael Jackson fan in ANY way. I never owned one of his albums.
However, part of me thinks that you people just may be the most jaded and cynical individuals I've ever seen.
Nothing was EVER proven. Other than the pay-offs. And who wouldn't try to get that out of the news as fast as they could?
Once something is rumored to be true...it's true, regardless. Right?
I've never defended him before (mostly because I didn't care for his music)...but wouldn't he be the easiest target for money-hungry nothings to blackmail?!
Anyone can claim anything. And when you're wealthy, there are those who will find a way to steal it away from you (especially if they've been wronged).
How do you fight that charges?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I still think he was innocent of child molestation. There was no evidence, and what circumstantial evidence did exist was proudly exalted by Jackson himself to the American and British people months before the allegations were made.

In considering the tragedy of Michael Jackson, who chose to hide from his pain in a bottle, consider that Farrah Fawcett chose to suffer her pain in public and not hide from it. Michaels death will surely eclipse Farrah's and that is sad because the world will see Michael and forget Farrah and she chose to face her pain in a dignified and adult way, and deserves to be remembered as being more noble that Michael. Ryan must have truly loved her and you could see that, while Michael died alone because of his escapist mentality.

Michael Jackson died a long time ago.
He achieved a level of fame the like of which we'll never see again (bc of the access to media and easily made YouTube stars)
no one can imagine what kind of seclusion that type of popularity breeds.
I read the court paper posted here and it means nothing. Complaints are not evidence, merely someone's allegations.

It all loses its meaning to those that forget.
I heard today that Groucho Marx died a few minutes before Elvis and who remembers Groucho's death now? Meanwhile, he pioneered a lot of what we all enjoy as comedy and entertainment because he helped create that bar that others were measured by. Ed Mcmahan had not real entertainment valuen be was just a second banana. He might have had some talent that the public was unaware of, who knows? But will he be remembered the same as Michael Jackson or Farrah? To me, Farrah's influence was more personal on me because of her sexual appeal and that poster that graced my bedroom wall. I never had a Michael Jackson poster nor ever thought of his talents, even though he did indeed have talent. I just will remember him as being a freaky guy.

While Farrah Fawcett's death was incredibly sad and her struggle with cancer was well documented and she may be seen as a hero to many, you can't compare Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson in terms of fame. To paraphrase Ghostbusters:
If Farah Fawcett's fame was represented by a twinkie, Michael Jackson's fame would be a Twinkie thirty-five feet long, weighing approximately six hundred pounds.

I thought Pitchfork.com (http://pitchfork.com/features/articles/7676-michael-jackson-rip/) had a pretty apt summary:
He was only 50. However they've been raised and by whom, he's got children. He's also got a big family-- we know the names of many of them-- and surely they're devastated. Millions of people all over the world have been moved by his music, and a lot of them are suffering right now, missing a piece of their lives, even if it's only one filled with a iconic pop figure. So this is a sad time. But man, and I feel guilty saying this, there's also just the slightest bit of relief: that a life that had always seemed like a lonely, twisted nightmare filled with suffering had finally come to end.
Take away the music, and Michael Jackson's life is just too sad to contemplate. Which is a very good argument for not taking away the music, ever. We're all going to die someday, too. So let's live. You start with "I Want You Back" and "ABC" and "I'll Be There". You go through the Jacksons years with "Dancing Machine" and "Can You Feel It", and then a long stop at the incomparable Off the Wall. Jackson sang a small handful of tunes with a legitimate claim as the best pop song of the past 40 years, and "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" is one of them. Then it's on to "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" and "Thriller" and "Wanna Be Startin' Something", and on through later hits: "Bad", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Man in the Mirror", "Black or White", "Will You Be There", and sure, why not, "Gone Too Soon". Michael Jackson-- superhero, cartoon, singer, dancer, supremely troubled dude-- made all this music, and it's amazing.

I always found it ..... interesting..... that the molestation charges were happening all the time when he was printing his own money but, they stopped completely when his wealth dried up.
There are predators out there who viewed MJ as a simple cash machine that handed out millions if you simply "asked" him for it. Charge him with a crime, and he WILL pay you.
That's sad.
I loved him and his music. Even the new stuff that nobody seemed to care about, was high quality pop.
It was tough to be an MJ fan. That skinny honky was just too bizarre for words but, for my money, he was a musician, and that's how I'll choose to remember him.

His actions fit the profile for a child molestor to a T.
-chose targets w/ parents of questionable character - typical grooming behavior. That way, any accusations, he could easily say hey they just want $/fame/attention.
-was accused by multiple times by more than one person
-have you SEEN the Bashir documentary?
-groomed society to look at him like an overgrown child that everyone loved and/or felt bad for.
-made every opportunity to be alone with children with no adults around.
-Reportedly attempted to drive a wedge between kids and their parents.
Sorry. I stuck up for him and held out for years and said "no proof, tortured soul" etc. Then I was trained in recognizing molestation and realized just how perfectly he fits the profile.

Young, old, whatever, that's some great music.
Though that bizarro scene after the "Black or White" was really weird. I remember watching the primetime premier with my family and it was one of those awful awkward moments where you just feel embarassed to be watching that with other people.
It's interesting watching a lot of the retrospective stuff because as weird as he was, he was clearly one of those rare celebrities that seemed to not want to actually be famous. He was also one of the rare pop megastars that was right there in the creation of his songs in terms of the writing and production. It's also a little disconcerting to see how visibly a different person he was when he was performing compared to, well, any other time. It's like that was his only real outlet emotionally and even physically. He was definitely a remarkable live performer. I don't know, it seems like that if he could have had his way he could have just focused on the music and touring because that seemed to be the only things where he wasn't this cripplingly shy and messed up person.
None of this is to explain or justify or explain he did...just things that strike me looking back at all of this.

Very well put....
But, rumors and allegations aside, what was it that this man actually "did" that causes all this animosity towards him from so many people?
