I would recommend a HID kit from ebay.

I was astonished by the difference. Even from my 80w/100w bulbs.

I will post pics later.

I'd like bright lights, but I can't stand when other people have them. I hate them.

that is due to M-I-S-A-Lignment.

i also hate people like that. or one headlight way up and the other is down right in front of there car.

I can get the packs shipped for $52 dollars or slim ballast for $63.

and i say its a a huge upgrade.

Especially since fez plans never worked out to get rid of all the deer.

they also came with a "bright" halogen bulb for those that require it to pass inspection.

just buy a mazda3

the way it lights up the road is insane. it's scary how many deer we can see now just waiting to pounce out into the middle of the road.

Fuck you. If you cant drive with normal headlights, GET OFF THE ROAD AT NIGHT. Its almost IMPOSSIBLE to see with those things comin the other way. Might as well just have your fuckin high beams on. Sissies

If those are the bright blue fuckers I'm agreeing with Snoogans. Get your cataracts fixed or stay in after sundown.

So are you putting HIDS in your stock housings? Because that's a really bad idea.

gran prixs are notorious for terrible light output.

if headlights are aimed correctly they will not blind, or glare any one. even if the HID are not ment to be in the capsule. The light from both "elements" are being generated at the same spot thus the beam pattern is the same as halogen bulbs.

just like when i was a kiddie, i still want a car with a glow in the dark paintjob.

You COULD do that. just get a TON of the little glow in the dark paint cans from your local hardware store. although it will e very illegal.

please tell me why?

The lenses aren't designed to disperse the light properly. The beam of light won't be properly focused and will be all over the place blinding everyone.

which is what MOST people do which is why these things are shit

And my car is 15 years old and has pretty weak headlights and I have no trouble seeing anything. its a fuckin cop out. If you cant handle the road at night with regular car headlights, YOU ARENT SAFE TO OPERATE A VEHICLE AT NIGHT

Why not just drive during the daytime all the time?

Walk during the night.

(I have HID lights)

that is not correct.

these lights and the REFLECTORS, not lenses, are made to reflect the light from a certain origin. If the HID bulb and the halogen bulb are emitting light from the same spot in the headlight capsule there will not be a problem.

Halogens' filament is the same size as the gas bulb in the HID light. so there is no problem there either.

the problem is, is that people who make these kits, most, do not get that alignment correct.
there is where the problem is. Some will modify the socket so that they will fit.

Those that do blind you are not using the kit correctly and should be shot. I agree. as most of what they paid for is being wasted. they just wanted the fancy blue color.

I went with the color they make closest to OEM. although different manufactures for certain company make them slightly different but around the same color. 4300k

But if you are you using the kit correctly you will not have a problem.

Or you can alsways get projectors.....retro or real ones made for your vehicle.

The car that has these lights is the car my GF drives and drives at night for her job. she also usually has my son at the time. So if i can make her see better and be safer than i will by all means.

So until i can buy a car with them stock will will go it this way

Nope. They're just too damn bright. I find it hard to believe that EVERY car on the road with bright headlights also have them misaligned.

you can have cars without bright headlights that are misaligned "look" bright due to the fact they are focused at your face.

It amazes me how many people can't see in their cars, they should make glasses that can make people with great vision understand wtf's wrong with you blind FAGGOTS.

Or poofs or whatever

I know. But the new ones are just too bright.

Most newer vehicles have projectors with auto-adjusting headlights. Not to mention all newer vehicles WITH projectors have a cutoff. I believe the mazda 3 has a projector base lense and if you drive up to a wall youll see it. There will be a line where there is NO light above. Although most cars like that dont have auto adjust they will be VERY bright if you gland that cut off from them going over bumps.

lemme show ya a projector pic.

its not that easy. As most older cars get there lights fogged, scratched, hazed, or acquire micro-fissures, they greatly reduce light out put.

My car was just notorious fo poor light out put. The reflectors it seems were an after thought. as you can see most vehicles now have almost a circular reflector pattern. Mine is in a rectangle. which does not disperse the light very well.
