I think being type cast as a western charter would be kind of simple the whole way of life always appealed to me anyway

I chose Westerns too because I think you really get the best of all worlds - action, adventure, romance, historical, and maybe even a bit of comedy too.

I have a buddy who recently finished acting in an independent Western and he said it was the greatest experience of his life. It was shot in an old ghost town in New Mexico and he said after they were done filming very late one night most of the actors and actresses just passed out on the set. He was wired and just wandered around. Seeing everyone asleep on couches in the makeshift bordello and on chairs in the saloon in their authentic attire made him feel like he'd actually been transported back in time.

That's cool. My wife and I have visited a couple of ghost towns and they always seen to come to life for me.

Great movie!

I chose war for the obvious reason but a western would be a very close second.

Drama. My initial thought was comedy but I wouldn't want to be "Dangerfielded" all the time. I read a story about him in Rolling Stone before he died. He didn't like to go out in public because fuckin people kept yelling all those one liners at him.

science fiction. pretty hardcore fan-base, and even after the acting gigs dry up, you can still make money appearing at conventions.

By Grabthar's Hammer, you are wrong! Great movie.

I'd go with this too, if you want to be making money. The other genres are good, but the only ones where you could have some staying power and the possibilities of sequels is the action/adventure or science fiction.

Westerns would be awesome - but they just don't make enough anymore.

And I've noticed a lot of people think they're funny. Hmm.

i went with comedy, though i felt horror would be good too. i could be really good as the fat guy that gets killed in every zombie movie.

Action Adventure. Spend the day shirtless, firing an M60 from the hip with random explosions going off in the background behind you, save the day and nail your co-star supermodel. What's not to like?

I like the costumes and the stories in the epic/historical genre so I'd take that.

I wish I could change my vote to western. I would want to be one of those beautiful women in the saloons...what were they called....harlots or something?

I would love to be in a comedy, but I am sure I would just laugh at myself all of the time like Jimmy Fallon.

I'd love to be an action star man. Like the next Harrison Ford or something. If I could ever nail an iconic role like Han Solo or Indy, I would not hesitate. Acting in a movie like that would be awesome.
