Ok I'm a big fan of making Mixed tapes (Or CD's) So I'm constantly trying to come up with another great way to arrange and re-arrange songs. So now I ask all of you to try and come up with your best one.

There's one restriction only....

It needs to be limited to 1 hour. (or as close as you can get as you'll see)

Here's an example from me...

Motown vs. British Invasion

1. Three Dog Night - Joy To The World (3:36)
2. Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - Dancing In The Streets (2:37)
3. Stevie Wonder - Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours (2:38)
4. Four Tops, The - I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch) (2:44)
5. Jr. Walker & The All-Stars - Shotgun (3:04)
6. Marvin Gaye - I Heard It Through The Grapevine (3:14)
7. Temptations, The - My Girl (2:55)
8. Contours, The - Do You Love Me (2:52)
9. Sam and Dave - Hold On, I'm Coming (LP/Single Version) (2:35)
10. Jackson 5, The - I Want You Back (2:59)
11. Byrds, The - Turn! Turn! Turn! (3:57)
12. Rolling Stones - Ruby Tuesday (3:20)
13. Animals, The - The House Of The Rising Sun (4:31)
14. Rolling Stones - Satisfaction (3:46)
15. Eric Clapton - Layla (7:06)
16. Rolling Stones - Jumpin' Jack Flash (3:40)
17. Beatles, The - A Hard Day's Night (2:32)
18. The Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin' (2:58)

(Yes I know this is very Mixed Bag-ish. But come on I'm a simple guy)

:bye:

I had a thread kinda similar to this.

I think we used Vegas, Anti-love songs, Irish theme, Songs with cities in their name. Amongst others

I used to like them, but that John Cusack movie made them too nerdy.

Maybe it was too hard turning a mirror on yourself, Poindexter.

Love High Fidelity, even though they totally Americanized the book.

This makes my head hurt

I know nothing bout the law an such.

I imagine it's a bit dramatic for you power types but for the simple - it's poetic. Tragic even.

ok I'm set for the evening.
Thanks!

Edit: in the spirit of never taking a link without posting one here is this place (http://www.songfacts.com) which apparently has information about the meaning of songs. Looks like a good waste of time.

Heres a Rap Mix. It came in at about an hour two minutes..

A Tribe Called Quest: Scenario
Alkaholks: Daaam
Eric. B. & Rakim: Know the Ledge
Wu Tang Clan: Protect Ya Neck
LL Cool J: Rock the Bells
BDP: Jack of Spades
Pete Rock & CL Smooth: The Creator
Run DMC: Down With the King
Naughty by Nature: Uptown Anthem
NWA: Straight Outta Compton
Snoop & Dre: Nuthin but a G Thang
Big Daddy Kane: Nuff Respect
Craig Mack: Flava in Your Ear
Biggie Smalls: Bullshit and Party

That was really tough. And hour is not alot of time at all.
