Do you know what pisses me off the most? Being ignored by a woman, or being told by a third party that she's not interested.

This is why everything between the sexes is so crappy, it's because nobody *communicates*. Instead, to avoid what they think could be a possible confrontation, they ignore the situation.

I don't mind being told someone isn't interested - shit, it's your loss - but at least be up front about it instead of playing games. Jeez. Being ignored hurts more.

It's always better to ignore. Confrontation is scary.

Unless of course you're being courted by Glenn Close in Fatal attraction.

Who cares? Whether they ignore you or tell it to your face, you at least get the message...time for me to move on! The only unforgivable sin is dishonesty. When you meet a girl who pretends you have a chance with her, for whatever reason...that's what you really have to worry about.

Yeah, what Heckler said....

I hate it when people do it to me too but I'm getting used to it. There really isn't much you can do about how others act towards you. Just keep reminding yourself that it's their problem, not yours.

Well running right up and getting in peoples face is no way to go through life...now you gotta have a little fun and smile. That is usually the key to starting any conversation...

Actually, I've noticed that most people are very open to meeting new people -- it just depends on the circumstances.

If you walk up to a stranger in a social setting, and are friendly, and speak to them like a human being, 9 out of 10 times they'll treat you the same way.

The problem is that guys (even the nice ones) tend to approach women with a goal in mind...not necessarly sexual. Girls seem to sense this, and, in my experience, you won't get very far.

Ofcourse it's got to hurt to be ignored on any level.
I should know, just today I was told I could not speak to the amlighty PsychoBoy. "Hang up on her" he says at the station. Well, ya know what, what's he so afraid of. Doesn't bother me any. I just sit back and laugh while I listen to the show.

When she reaches for the mace, chances are she's not interested.
