Only if cannonball is his petname for his short fat wife?
You must have one hell of a canonball if it needs a permission slip

As always, you should let the social environment dictate such actions.
If everyone's (or the majority are) dressed nicely, dont do a cannon ball.
If everyone's wearing swim outfits and ready to get wet, go ahead, but understand not everyone will chuckle.

I'm usually Mr. Stick-up-my-ass in social occasions at my home but I've got no problem with anyone canonballin' in my pool at any time. That's what the pool's there for.

if you yell cannnonnnballllll! while doing it no matter when, where and what they're wearing, it's socially acceptable. Just like yelling fore in golf. they were warned.

Hell no! He's a friend so he expects it.
I'll do a can opener and my 305 pound ass will rain down BIG on my target.

Is there drinking involved? If there are open containers, cannonballs must be expected.

I'll do a watermellon. That's an upside down cannonball.
