Maggie Moo's vs. Cold Stone Creamery

I've heard the debate and I'm asking the people. Hopefully most of you have one in your area.

Pretty similar styles: both stores feature fresh ice creams that is slapped on a cold slab, then you add your 'mix-ins' (ech).

Both seem similarly pricey.


I am a Cold Stone fan but it's not a runaway. Both are tasty.

not a fan of cold stone. it's overly sweet. & usually i just get vanilla ice cream with whatever topping. one time i even threw out a shake cause it was just awful.

They are the exact same thing, somebody owes the other some royalty rights. Personally I find Maggie Moo's to be a little creamier and not in a good way. I'm choosing Cold Stone, but like you said Hammer its not a runaway.

I would rather go to a local place where the ice cream is cheaper... I went to coldstone once and it cost me like 10 bucks for two ice creams and I barely enjoyed it. It didnt help I had a big dinner before hand

I've had that same experience in Starbucks. Additionally, the employees at Cold Stone sing a little ditty whenever you put a tip in their jar. Cute the first time, annoying all subsequent times. I'd end up decapitating myself if I worked there.

We had two ColdStones nearby to where I live, both of them shut down within the last 7-8 months. There's a Maggie Moo's about 10 minutes from here. I haven't been there yet.

ColdStone was expensive but tasty, depending on what you got.

I'll not weigh in on the Poll until after I've had Maggie's.
