While waiting for Big Brother to start, I'm stuck with stupid Entertainment Tonight on my telly (yeah, I could change it but whatever). There's a segment about to start with Christina Aguilera singing on the streets of Hollywood, and as usual she's over-dramatizing her vocal talents with her godawful hand gestures.

I hate that shit.

It seemed to start with Mariah Carey, although I'm sure there were others before her. But there's now very few pop fluffsters who don't perform without this garbage, particularly in the American idol crowd.

Wait, there may be one other cliche I hate more - the male pop stars who "act" out their songs. Like whenever the Backstreet fags would touch their hearts when the lyric had the word "heart", or point to the crowd every time they sang the word "you". Ugh!
