ugh...
It looks like they are raping the 80s again...
Common or 'the game' (never heard of the latter) rumored to play Mr. T.

Edit: On netflix, the cast is listed as: Woody Harrelson, Bruce Willis, Ice Cube, and Daniel Morton

This is inconsequential.
With the exception of Murdock hanging on the jail cell screaming "I want a trAAAAAAssh BAG!!!!!!", The A-Team is a terrible show that doesn't hold up.
No one died!
Hannibal in disguise - they help someone - B.A. needs milk - build a tank out of a truck - fire massive rounds of ammo - seven cars flip over while flying through the air - Decker shows up - they escape. That's every show.
So what if they remake it? The A-Team was fun when a lot of us were kids - but we didn't know better. At this point they'd just be using the names from the show but it wouldn't be anything resembling it. See: G.I. Joe.

Pretty much. Nothing is being "raped" here. The shitty TV show still exists.

I just started getting a channel on Danbury that's out of Bridgeport and the week nightline up is :
A Team @ 8:00
Rockford Files @ 9:00
Quincy @ 10:00
Magnum PI @ 11:00 ( I think, but this one might not be right )
The thing that sucks is they never give you an idea of what the episode is.
It's always just the shows itself's synopsis.

I don't care they're remaking it becaust I think they'll butcher it. I'm just sick of remakes. I want original, intelligent ideas.

There's tons of original ideas. The majority of movies each year are originals over remakes or adaptations or sequels.

Exactly. I thought it was stupid as a teen, and I liked a lot of stupid stuff. But I did giggle when Dirk Benedict almost pulled a gun on a Cylon that one time.

Apparently Rampage Jackson of UFC fame will be taking over the role of BA, with Liam Neelson as Hannibal and Bradley Cooper (hangover) as Face.
I think the casting of Hannibal is a fucking train wreck waiting to happen. Let's put aside the fact that Neelson doesn't look anything like the character. He just doesn't have that american swagger that George Peppard brought to the character.
If it was my movie, I would've cast someone like James Caan or Tommy Lee Jones in the role.
Any thoughts on Murdock? Obviously nobody can replace Dwight Schultz but I could definitely see Rob Schneider, Michael Ian Black or a Dane Cook in that role.

Rampage's publicist is denying it.
This is Dana White's reaction to the Rampage thing
“I hate it with a [expletive] passion…You’re a fighter; you’re not a movie star. It’s so [expletive] funny because fighters want to be movie stars, and movie stars want to act like they’re fighters. Get a [expletive] grip. You’re a fighter, and you’re (not) a [expletive] movie star. Alright?”

And once again Dana White shows he has the vocabulary of a 12 yr. old. It seriously amazes me that he is able to be as successful as he has been with his immature mentality.
Anyway, back to Rampage, I read that his fight with Evans was postponed because of this movie so as far as I know it's true that he's in it.

The original series was played tongue-in-cheek: broad characterizations, lots of explosions and good triumphs over evil in the end. I think the movie is going to be played more like a drama with action.
It's not just the casting of Hannibal, the whole movie looks like it will be a train wreck. I don't know why they bother to remake TV shows into movies if they aren't going to follow what made the series successful in the first place. Remember the Bewitched movie? Although that had a good cast, the script was absolutely horrible.

That actually looks pretty entertaining. I cant believe Dana White actually expected Rampage to skip this movie for a fight with Rashard Evans.

i was angry and furious when i saw the hummer. then i saw the ol' black GMC Vandura (or replica of), and i was less angry and furious.
it doesnt matter who plays who. this movie is just going to be full of explosions, bad one-liners, and good defeats evil. just what the American reminiscing public wants.
