I dont think Fezfez every really gave the board a shot, he posted rarely and started threads that were somewhat open ended to take shots at him. Did he honestly not think any of the secret stuff would come up in "questions for fez"?

And when was the last time ESD posted regularly? I see Caseys posts all the time, but rarely anything from ESD.


Basically, would their presence on the board be lost at all?


Aaaaand another thing....Fez admitted to Gvac when he was in studio that he has gone crazy. Are fans (most of the people here) not supposed to talk about that? It seems like Fez has tried to alienate fans by becoming a heel/talking about every gay issue/making nonsense arguments. This is a place for discussion about the show we love. I honestly believe that when Fez kills on a show people here talk about it, but (sadly) more often than not he has off days....and people talk about that too.

What im really trying to say is that Im confused as to where the Fez and ESD hate for the board is coming from.

there show is negative about summer blockbusters, should they never have a movie from warner brothers for the prize closet.

some topics do go negative, but everyone here would write a letter in a second if the buddy's were in trouble. negativity is a part of life, it just hurts 10x more when it is directed at you or something you are involved in.

Fez and Dave's opinions don't have much impact on my internet surfing decisions. If they leave I'll still come here, post, and join in the occasional conversation - just as I always have.

If the show "breaks up with" ronfez.net and Mikeyboy shuts the doors, it will be sad. But all things being equal, it is just a message board.

I personally don't get the whole "the board is negative so let's disassociate from the board," because, 99.9% of people who join this board worship the show, and the 0.1% get all the attention. I personally have done my best to jump on those douchebags who troll the board and say negative things about the show, to rip them a new asshole, but I am not going to spend my time policing the fucking douchebags. Why would people want them here. A fan forum is for the fans. Not a place to stroke the egos of the people we are posting about. This is why this place can't run like a real fan forum. There is way to much concern for the feelings of the people that we want to talk about.

The concern over the feelings of Dave, Casey, Fez, and maybe even Ron, make it really hard to be honest with how you feel. You have to jump through hoops or hold back things that at a regular old site you could be free to say and would have honest conversations about.

I think this place from time to time shoots itself in the foot with it's closeness to the show. And since this is the official unofficial site of the show, with commercials for it on XM and Sirius, you would that it would be less personal and more professional from time to time.

I also think Dave is just being silly and will be back next week.

Yeah, I guess. You just seemed to contradict your entire point. It was seemingly like you can't understand or don't like the way Dave is acting and then turning right around and saying that you understand that he's just joking around.

Just didn't make sense to me is all.

I guess the bigger issue for me is why the hell anyone would take a website or those who post or don't post so seriously. Definitely bizarre to my think.
