Welcome, Sara! The main purpose of this little message board is to offer opinions and exchange ideas and through that we all get to know one another a little better.
It is meant to mimic the Message Boards of olden days, before the invention of TV, radio, telephones, or even the printing press. Back then, you would write your thoughts down on a certain subject and post it up in the town square, and people would pass by and read it. Those who felt so inclined would go home, write a response, and return and post it.
It's the same here. It's not a "real time" type of conversation. You may get a response in 2 minutes, 2 hours, 2 days, or maybe none at all. Don't take offense, it just works out that way sometimes!
