They're pretty crappy, but at a dollar a can, I don't mind having some around to munch on occasionally.
Definitely not a go-to or something I'd give my friends.
Last year they had the extreme mozzarella that was really good, but it was only a temporary promo or something.
If I get some now it's usually the jalapeno or the Mexican 3 layer dip flavor....

Pringles are international potato food stuff. They taste exactly the same where ever you go.

They're also perfect for the beach. Are they great? No. But if we sat on the beach for 4 hours and I pulled out a can of Pringles, you'd eat em.

Of course Pringles are highly refined quasi "food" product, but I like them.

I used to know an old school biker dude that had empty Budweiser and Pringle cans all over his garage. He wrote the company a letter telling them how much he enjoyed their product and that he used the empty tubes to hold bolts and other motorcycle parts in his shop. They sent him a bunch of coupons.:blink:

thats not totaly how there made... I used to drive truck and droped loads off at the plants... i know how they are made and will never eat another one.

I used to eat a whole can in one sitting. I hadn't had them in a long time until I read this thread. I went out to the convenience store, which was selling half cans of Pringles. That pissed me off. So I got two of them. Went home and started eating them. They advertise prominently on the can that there are 0 grams of transfat in the product. I noticed the chip tasted different and not in a good way. Maybe Pringles had transfat in them at one time and that's what made them taste so good. I don't know. But the chips were lacking something.

When I was in college a friend would eat them all the time and then use the can as a spittoon. Nothing worse than opening a can of Pringle's and seeing three days worth of Skoal spit.

I've always envisioned a process where they take potato flakes (like what you'd find in instant mashed potato mix), mash them together in a preformed mold of some sort, and deep fry them.
