My friend has an important audition for high school tomarro and his getting sick because of it. Is there anything she can do?

Anticipation is worse than realization.
Just tell him to go and face their fears. They should just try to do their best.

It's entirely normal to be nervous in this situation - in fact, as MANDREW noted, it can help maintain focus.
LT. ROOSTER - noted that "anticipation is worse than realization." I've found this to be almost universally true. Some people can overcome situational nervousness by imagining the very worst thing that can happen; then realizing that, come what may, it cannot possibly be as bad as they fear.
I hope your friend gets the part he wants.
