You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

My buddy and I are flying into L.A. on the 20th. We wanna hang around L.A. and check somethings out then head down to San Diego to visit our friend in grad school.

Any suggestions on things to do? We don't want to be the typical ham and egger tourists, so if anyone has any good ideas lemme know.

Look for the nice gentlemen with either a blue or red bandanna, they will be glad to give you directions if you get lost. Kinda like welcome wagon.

I love San Diego, the wine selections, the zoo, some of the good places to eat, and there are some decent bars there. Check out tripadvisor.com for a full list.

Thats what I've heard but my friend is really excited about seeing LA. Plus I got family there I might spend a day with. I dont plan on spending more than 3 days there anyway.

3 days is probably sufferable. when i was going out there i somewhat enjoyed the town of los feliz. the only 2 bars i went to repeatedly were the drawing room, and the dresden (from swingers). theres a taco stand like 100 yds from the dresden that was open late and kicked ass.


but for the record, i stand by my original idea

I would normally doubt it, as the Dodgers have notoriously low attendance, but the Cubs will certainly boost ticket sales.

I wouldn't leave LA too quickly. At least head out to Eagle Rock for Senor Fish's. Best Mexican food I have ever had, either side of the border.

Go down to Venice Beach and just chill for a day.It is one of the greatest places on earth to people watch.If you are up early go up PCH to the north side of Malibu and watch the surfers.

a beach bum reccomends 2 beaches! shocker. ;)

la jolla cove is cool, but don't molest the seals.

go down to the boarder so you can have a pic taken in front of one of the "fleeing mexicans" signs.

in san diego, go downtown to the gasslamp and check out horton plaza and grab a bite at one of the many nice places on market.

if i went back i doubt i would leave.

I shall look into all these options, thank you. I was just planning on binge drinking the whole time. One major problem is im under 25 and i costs a fortune to rent a car so i can't really drive where ever I want, but ill still make moves.
