Yes. WWII movies as they are discussing are about solidiers, battles, armies.
The Holocaust occurred during WWII but it's a separate type of movie.

Agreed. If Eastwood is in a WWII movie, it may be an entertaining movie, but not great.

well, most WWII movies werent during war - they were 50s/60s
WWI book/movie - red badge of courage.

Americans beat Japan, true, but in Europe, it was the Russians that won helped by the German's lack of supplies and Hitler's dumb moves.
