View Full Version : Where do you keep your beer?
I don't remember the context, but the other day on the show Dave said something about putting something in the refrigerator "on the top, on the beer shelf."
It sounded strange to me, because I've always put my beer on the bottom shelf.
I've known a few people, including my Dad, who keep beer in the fridge drawers. I tried it once or twice, but it doesn't work well there for me.
I thought about it again today when I got back from the store and was putting the beer away, on the bottom shelf, maybe that's not where I should be putting it.
Where should the beer go?

I usually take them out of the original packaging and fit the bottles up top next to the milk and other stuff. If you spread it around its like an easter egg hunt later. There is nothing better than finding that last beer in the back by the mayo when you thought you were out. Just don't wait so long that it gets skunky.

Sadly dont have that kinda space in manhattan, but I do love to drink at home so really the answer is anywhere thats cold

i prefer to keep my beer in a cooler full of ice.
i have a great cooler that will keep ice frozen for a couple of days.
sometimes i also like to pop a few in the freezer so they get extra cold

I hate it when certain people in this house bring home several 6 packs and takes beer out of each box randomly. So there is about 5 boxes in the fridge with just a few beers in each one. Such a waste of space.
Oh, yes, there is a separate beer fridge, but there is also beer in the regular fridge too. I am surprised I can even get milk in the fridge anymore.:dry:

I have a kicka$$ visi-cooler in my garage which holds my beer.
Currently it's not stacked all the way with beer as it should be so I'm allowing the wife to keep her bottled waters on the bottom shelf and I use another shelf for my SoBe Life Waters.
Soon though I will make sure it is all beer.
