It's snowing in Foxboro. Now THAT is gonna be some football! I love snow games. But I hope John Gruden makes his mess all over Belichik. Considering the conditions, and that the Patsy's are at home, it doesn't look good for Oakland.

And well, since the Jets are out of it, I have to root for my childhood heroes, the Steelers tomorrow.

Spy Report: Yes it's snowing here in Massachusetts.

stump12 is at the game, lucky bastard! Maybe he'll steal a bench or something, it's probably the last game there. Next year we get a brand spanking new CMGI Field. It will be the best stadium in the country. :)

First game at Foxboro Stadium: Pats beat Oakland in a preseason game.
Last game at Foxboro?: Pats beat Oakland in a playoff game?

Yeah the Pats won. As a fan you shouldn't be happy what so ever...first they barely scored against a terrible defense and secondly you got back into the game on a bogus call that shouldn't have been called. It was a close call but not conclusive enough to be over-turned. Even if Baltimore wins on Sunday and you guys get another home game, Your luck is run out. Mark my words..The Pats are no Superbowl team..the winner of PITT and BALT. ...there's the AFC's representative in New Orleans.

Ohhhhhhhh Sorry, sorry Tall James...perhaps you can root for a Cubs Red Sox World Series though...
PS on a more personal note I am 2 for 2 on playoff picks this weekend. My picks for Sunday is Green Bay over St Louis (gonna catch a lot of flack for that), and Ravens over Steelers(will be low scoring no matter what though, and am kicking myself for not picking Ravens)...so someone can mock me when I am wrong on either

By God, there was a lot of snow on that field.

I wasn't exactly pulling for the Pats (although I wasn't rooting against them), but I have to hand it to them - great win during horrible weather. Hats off to the Pats!

I'm happy as a retard getting a icecream sunday.

first they barely scored against a terrible defense

Did you notice the snow? It was hard to get anything going out there.

you got back into the game on a bogus call that shouldn't have been called.

A NFL official explained the rules today on ESPNews, the ref made the right call.

The Pats are no Superbowl team..the winner of PITT and BALT. ...there's the AFC's representative in New Orleans.

We'll see.

How about wrong on both, Doog? Hope you didn't lose too much!

Sorry Fallon, it's a fumble. This was taken from EHOWA.com, but Ernie's a stand up patriot even if not a Patriot's fan, so I trust it to be true. Hey, if it's on the internet, it MUST be true.

NFL Rule 3, Section 21, Article 2 Note 2: When a Team A player is holding the ball to pass it forward, any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body. Also, if the player has tucked the ball into his body and then loses possession, it is a fumble.

Note 3: If the player loses possession of the ball while attempting to recock his arm, it is a fumble.

Part of this I do have a problem with actually. Let's say a QB cocks his arm, makes forward motion, and doesn't throw, then rolls out, and then goes to throw again, long after the initial motion. If the ball is then knocked down, like a normal incomplete pass, would that be considered an incomplete pass? Or is it a fumble because of the initial forward motion earlier in the play?

I might not have worded that right, but I think you get what I mean.
