The Bible has really helped me. It taught me to avoid eating pork, vultures and lizards. Of course, I'm pretty sure the pork thing doesn't apply anymore.

Get some pork in your life.

Absolutely delicious

i had an early religion class that discussed many different faiths (both current and "extinct") and used the holy texts specific to each religion as a story book, because technically thats what the books contain. it wasnt done in a disresepctful way either. the bible, the rig vedas, the torah, etc. were referenced for their mythological components.

excellent class

They're both talked about a lot on the show and the only two off the top of my head that were on esd's list.

they both picked things they were good at, but its just flatly untrue that fez's list was "uniquely ron and fez"

What I meant is that it was an example of what sets Ron and Fez apart and makes it funny. Bible Trivia is incongruous with a 202 show. It's moral-ish. Same with Presidents triva, it's dry. Wrestling goes lowbrow. They're "Fez" which is integral to the show.

Mafia and basketball - right there in the middle of the road.

I went to Catholic School from Kindergarten through College. The core beliefs are still relevant, the human element warps what is taken away from it. I take away the basic do the right thing message.

the reason that businesses pay for health care is it is a non-taxed benefit that can be offered.

the reason it's attractive is also that the bigger groups get better rates.

It we could get my healthcare as a non-taxed money and get same rate as the companies, It would be fine if we do it as an individual

I like ESD, sometimes love

Just see some consequences to the "Ron and Fez" show from his long-term and continued disrespect of Fez and think ESD is 96% to blame for those. At the root is the division brought on by the disrespect. The Lord backs me up on this

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand". - Matthew 12:25

Still haven't seen Mad Men.

I watch (and like) Mad Men.

I think Ronnie is wrong about the Gay story line - the idea is that it is NOT generally in the workplace.
there are 2 incidents - one main character and one peripheral. The peripheral last ep of last year admitted to being gay- but he was European, and after he left the room all the others bashed him.

The main character is in the closet- and last night he wasn't going to act on it until the bellboy came on to him secretly in his room- so saying that it wasn't accepted doesn't contrast with the show.

in this context, Fez is wrong and Ronnie right.

Mutation is a change of gene; downs syndrome is an extra X that is caused during mitosis.

also a mutation can be a positive, which wouldn't make it a defect.

Downs could be considered genetic abnormality or birth defect (if we don't get all PC about it)
and we consider abnormal things that don't normally occur, and defect as something that puts the person at a disadvantage.

Birth defect is probably an older term that is too general- but the idea is that there something abnormal happened before birth, as opposed to an injury/disease post-birth.

Nondisjunction is a category of mutation, although not the one people usually think about.

There's some evidence of gay linked to genetics but also plenty of it related to socialization. The fact is it can be one or the other or any combination of both.

the prison scene in watchmen was awesome

has anyone seen the black freighter? read very mixed reviews on netflix...

i have it. its good, but i wish it was intertwined into watchmen like the graphic novel. it would work better that way, i think.

<- shut off "The Dark Knight" before it was over.. I may have to give it another shot.

You'll probably have the same reaction I had when I watched "Scarface" for the first time..."THIS is what people love so much?"

Nondisjunction is a category of mutation, although not the one people usually think about.

.
I can see how one might consider it a mutation, but I've never seen it categorized as that.
