What you're describing is called pseudofolliculits barbae...ingrown hairs acting as a "foreign body" in the skin, causing inflammation.
You may be prone to this if you shave too close, or if you have really curly hair. Let me know a little more about what's going on and I'll see if I can help.

My XM doesn't work so I won't be able to hear the answer, but I'll give it a shot. Well I don't really have curly hair and I don't shave that often (maybe twice a week), but when I do its straight razor to the face. But I also got one on my leg, near my armpit, and on my back, could I just be a dirtbag?
