A business can fire you for hair-style, unsightly tattoos, not shaving, etc etc etc, APPEARANCE is a big thing in the service industry. If you stop being productive at your job for any reason(ie. cause you changed sexes and customers are no longer comfortable with you), you can be fired.

The employer did not discriminate, the customers did, and an employer needed to cut dead weight.

had one of those dudes at werk, manly looking 6'4" dude with huge man face shows up one day with lipstick. next time with a blouse top. next time in a mumu dress.

His boss interjected and told him to stop. he didn't, fired. Lawsuit, wins, man man in dress stalking the halls of my organization to this day with promotion. Fucking viking with lipstick can change the lightbulbs without a ladder.

That is insanity.

There was a 55 or 60 year old highschool teacher here(4 years ago), who left for summer as a man, came back in the fall as a woman. Students were threatened with expulsion for making comments, I would have been expelled. Several students were suspended for being insensitive to the mans desire to express himself by cutting off his genitalia and wearing a Halloween costume to work.

I work around customers, and I work around my customers customers, I present myself in a respectable manner, and refrain from wearing shirts that are potentially offensive. Why? Because if I am a scumbag that offends people, I will lose my job.
