I hate XM, weekend schedule sucks.

I dont know if its Opie, or XM, but the fact that RNF only replay like twice all weekend pisses me off.

The 1am replay sucks too.


This weekend was not as unbearable as most lately, the WOTWCD, is ponderous, they play the same countdown over and over and over and over....this week at least they played the individual shows, but the LACK of RNF pisses me off.


No reason they cant alternate the shows on the weekend, I never get to hear the daily replay anymore, so I could at least catch up on the weekend.

According to what Ron said on the show when they talked about adding an extra hour to the show, the XM suits would allow Ron and Fez to run a 4 hour show provided they made their weekend replays into a best-ofs.

Why the fucking hard-on for "best ofs", they run the same 4hr program like 8 times a weekend for the ONA show, why would you bore the audience with redundancy? Now the full show is redundant seeing as it has been played 3 times a day for ona, but atleast it is not the same 4hrs all weekend.

Sirius suits are the reason REGULAR radio sucks, too much cookie-cutter radio formula bullshit.

It seems that they just prefer to have a preprepared block of redundant programing every weekend. It is a shame because Opie and Anthony have more interns and employees to prepare their weekend best-ofs.

take this opportuinity to spin the dial. theres alot of great music that gets played; and some specialty shows that only get played on the weekends. i listen to mostly western , soul, and coffee house. sure , there are times, but dont let the good stuff pass you by either.

well if they are going to be redundant it is less redundant to play complete shows rather than a 4hr best of block over and over.


The lack of a steady Saturday Night Virus, that is live is annoying too.


Music channels are ok at best, most of them repeat the same 30 songs over and over. I will listen to anything too, I get desperate on the weekends.

Yah let's be honest, the weekend and evening schedules for 202 suck pretty bad. You have a mult-national audience and you play replays all fucking day, some that are WAY TOO SHORT so you hear them over and over even if you pop in infrequently. Seriously, I do some work from time to time in my home office on the weekends and pop on the channel and it's often I have to tune out bc it's the same shit I already heard. This from a guy who misses a lot of the shows live AND doesn't tune in often on the weekend.

Bottom line is the boys really should line up that all-star channel they always thought Stern could have run with back at Krock (Stern, O/A, Ron/Fez and ?). Is the price still worth it for me to hear both shows live from 6-3, sure. Still, it doesn't mean they're actually making good choices and or good moves with the medium I assume they have good control over.

If you think about it, perhaps it's the closest thing the execs can do to make talk fall under the same bullshit format as most music channels. Clearly the best of countdown sucks.

I agree 100 % i added xm 202 to serius197 just for Ron&Fez and pretty much get to hear a Friday rerun on Sun 12 to 4, what happend to the rest of the week

Good point, and since you would only be listening for the two weekend days, you'll only hear the same rotation of songs 2 or 3 times.
