I don't think that Fez' true problem with the situation is the monetary value, it will be returned one way or another, the real issue that is hurting him is the violation on his privacy and being that he has plenty of trust issues already it probably leaves him more anxious about the situation than it would any other person.

I recommend not only to change the account but bank all together. Use no checks but only online bill pay, debit/credit card pay and cash.
Keep your security on the computer updated, browsers like firefox are great at recognizing phising sites and will warn you, bank sites are secure.

After my actual checks had been stolen and forged a few years back I went that route and have had no issues since.

After listening to what I missed today on the show, Fez should have his computer checked out for some trojans, keyloggers, or other virii that could be causing this. The other thing for him to do is kill his family. And anyone with multiple board characters.

Fez said he changed his PIN to his online account, but he didn't mention his password. If all he did was change account numbers, the online account would still link to the new accounts. Also, I think some banks show an image of the canceled check online. So, that is where the thief could have gotten Fez's signature.

I think most the stuff Fez is worried about is nonsense. But, at least these makes his concerns slightly more reasonable. Phone calls and internet harassment I wold believe from ESD fan's thinking they are helping, but stealing on numerous occasions from Fez's bank account I don't think is linked to th "conspiracy."

I didn't catch the specifics of the Fez theft but if it was a small amount, it wouldn't be crazy for Fez to wonder if it's someone from the radio world fucking with him. Consider that Fez isn't that tech savvy, gets fucked with all the time, and some ESD fans are nutty.

Just relistening. Fez said he used electronic banking and that the money was stolen using checks. Two things come to mind quickly. One, he mentioned his computer having viruses and I'm guessing keyloggers weren't out of the question because I doubt his security was up to snuff. The second is that it was someone much closer than he thinks, because they would have needed to receive a check from him in advance.

Still curious is how they stole money using a check. That's a pain in the ass compared to recreating a card and acquiring a pin. For the smallest purchases I've seen cashiers calling managers to verify.

Sure, I've said many times over I'm a pro-Fez and have a Ron and FEZ bias.

I've also said I like Dave on the show, but it only goes so far. I have zero sense of fan "loyalty" to ESD and can't stand grating motormouth agree-with-Ron ESD. But otherwise the clowning, voices, gimmicks add laughs to the show. So you're right, I am just as anti-Dave but have explained that anti-staffer has been the tradition/rule/standard for the Ron and Fez show, whereas anti-host is a new incarnation that obviously isn't working.

I said I thought Dave contributed to a division that undermined Fez's position and is behind Fez's anger at him. Their feud has been funny at times but lately it looks like the show was going to end up at a place that people who really do like a show with both of them won't like. The other alternative of it going on this way indefinitely isn't going to make Ron and FEZ fans happy either.

It's reached a zero-sum point that requires choosing sides because one of the hosts has a problem with the status quo. I admit a strong bias in favor of Ron and Fez hosts over staffers.

Hell, you can use PayPal to do the same. It happened to me 10 years ago.

PayPal leaked my info at about the same time (10 years ago). Glad it was only for $100. Was unpleasant as hell to deal with though. They're much better now.

I do think this was a random identify theft that probably stems from his camera. If it was a fan, they should just be beaten with a club, but for some reason I get the vibe from what is happen that it wasn't personal.

Maybe Fezzies physiciatrist did it. Wasn't she on vacation last week. Maybe to Niagra Falls or to a White party at P-town. God knows she's been stealing from him for years.
