I've noticed this since I was a kid - if your hair gets wet and you haven't shampooed it VERY recently, it stinks just like a wet dog.

Maybe that's why other races think we white people smell like that.

Blacks and Asians have very different hair than us, so I guess theirs doesn't stink when it gets wet.

yesterday I found out about this also I have now gone to the pound and got a new puppy. I now wet the puppy down and rub it all over myself in the morning instead of deodorant to enhance the smell even more. No more N bombs well now I use Wet Dog bombs take that Blacks...

I use to work with Larry Dobys daughter. We worked for Ma Bell at the time. At lunchtime one day we decided to smoke a joint through a park. We got all nice and stoned. Went and had burgers at a local tavern. On the way back we finished the joint. Right before we got to the building, it started pouring. We get in the elevator with other white people that were wet. She kinda whispered loudly, "White people white smell like wet dogs." I just busted out laffing as other white people were horrified.

I had heard the bologna thing from a really really terrible 90's action comedy starring like three of the Wayans brothers called Mo' Money (don't ever watch it, it has no redeeming values) and have always since then assumed black people think we small like bologna, but I've never heard of the wet dog thing. I don't have any black friends but I have asian friends and a half arabic friend, should I ask them about this or is it just black people?

The black kids in my junior high school used to tell me I had nappy hair. I wish I had Al Sharpton to defend me back in the day.
