Fez said on the air Friday that he'd like to see Casey speak up at ronfez.net on his behalf against these chronic whiners and attackers who actually think they're helping Dave. Seems to me it would be an easy thing to do and would go a long way toward moving things forward for Dave's benefit. Hope it happens.

Also, what you are characterizing Fez as saying is wrong. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but by starting this thread, I'm convinced you're trying to stir up shit.

But it's a much more subtle kind of participation that leads to the phenomenon that Fez has laid out on the air dozens of times, the existence of which I don't think can be disputed. I'm pretty sure even Dave got a handle on what he was saying and has also described it, even if he didn't agree with Fez on the level of intent behind the process.

And if you believe that it's possible for participation (from tacit to explicit) in negativity on a message board dedicated to discussion of a show can ultimately undermine someone on that show, including a host - it makes logical sense that the opposite could also happen.

Dave has backed off the constant shots at Fez (unfortunately it took intervention by Ron) and the show has improved. Participation by Dave and/or Casey on Fez's behalf here would go further in eliminating the perception of "division" between them. It's beyond me how that can be disputed.

The continued division isn't going to work. That's probably obvious to anyone who has been listening over the last few weeks. My purpose in posting this thread wasn't to contribute to it, it was to highlight a suggestion made on the air that I agree would go a long way toward changing perceptions.
