The problem with this question is there are 3 ways to take it

Who is the most popular by sales?

Who is the best artistically?

Who is most indicative of an area?

I wasn't thinking most popular by sales because you cant really argue that, its just a numbers question.

Personally I think New York when I think of Dylan. Besides, nobody knows where "4th Street" actually is. Given where he wrote it and what the song seems to be about I think it's much more likely that it's a New York song. Besides, the thread was asking about cities, and Highway 61 Revisited is going to refer to Duluth, not Minneapolis.

Frederick would be Kix.

Even though Kix are from Fredneck, they are a Baltimore band.

Which would automatically make Sisqo or Mya the best.

you're all wrong. Minneapolis is Loud, Fast, Rules--aka Soul Asylum.

Amherst is Dinosaur Jr.
LA is Social Disortion
College Park is Clutch
Athens is the B-52's
Austin is Stevie Ray
Annapolis is Jimmi's chicken Shack
Seattle is Jimi Hendrix.
Sheffield is Def Lepard
Birmingham is Black Sabbath
Cleveland is The Dead Boys
Manchester is the Smiths
Brisbane is the Bee Gees
Syndey is INXS
Melbourne is Men at Work

You stole 2 from me, Clutch and the Dead Boys....
