King wrote an article in Entertainment Weekly about the future of media. He mentioned satellite radio and then made that quote about O&A. They don't know why they were targeted.

Look at the 68 year old man before Ant tells him he's fired. I heard this live this morning and I felt that... they're done.... feeling before it happened. cringe. If one media matters outlet picked this up they'd be done.

I heard the diatribe leadin that way but I somehow thought they wouldn't go there. then he did, Stephen King was right. patrice just went quiet for the rest of the show.
