I was riding with my brother in his Jeep last week. Every Jeep that passed would wave to him and he would wave back. What is that bullshit?
I think it's pretty gay.
I concur.. I've also notice this with people who drive Mini Coopers.. Blech

They feel they are in some sort of gay fraternity. (waiting for Greg)
Bikers and classic car enthusiasts do the same thing.

But, at least they have a reason.
Faggoty ass jeeps.

I have a jeep and people always wave to me. I never wave back. Just because we have the same car, we have some sort of connection? Is it because I'm supposed to be part of some jeep culture or something? I hate these "need to belong to something" assholes. I also have a motorcycle and every asshole on a motorcycle that drives by has to wave to me. I'm supposed to drive around constantly waving to people I don't know? When does it stop! Fuck them.

One of the greatest pleasures in this life is driving a Wrangler on a nice sunny day with the top and doors off.
Fellow Wrangler owners know you have discovered the secret to earthly bliss, and the knowing wave is a sort of salute.
I miss my Jeep terribly.

I find when truckers flash lights at each other to indicate that they can switch lanes and then the other guy taps his brakes to say thank you to be rather gay as well.

Faggoty ass jeeps.
Crotchrockets (Nijas, etc.) should not wave, only cruisers wave. It is a rite of passage to be recognized.

When I am riding my scooter, which looks like a motorcycle from some angles, a biker will begin to wave and then realise what I am riding and I see them drop their hand in disgust. Hahahaha

How about when instead of motorcyclists point to the yellow line in the road when passing each other instead of waving. Fucking mouth breathers.

I want a Jeep - really bad!
When I am camping in Iowa and using Ryan's truck or his dad's huge ass truck I get lots of waves.

Same thing happened when I drove my mom's Jeep. Next time I might flip them all off just for shits n' giggles.

I call it the code. It's the way it is, nothing mysterious. Driving "stick" you only gotz one free hand so I gave the wheel two finger left hand salute to all other jeeps except yellow or pink. Leave em hangin.
No props to factory fresh leasers. Let's see you negotiate a 5" lift on that. No props to 4-doorers either, we know you considered a H3 before your jeep soccermom.
Also, no props to anyone with a right handed code as they have one of those rare faggoty automatics.
nothing gay about this post.

You keep your hand on the stick at all times? That would make smoking impossible.

It's pretty impossible with the top off anyways.
Like any shift coffee/beer/smoking is always just inconvenient. Not impossible.

I'm with you. When I ride the BMW I get waves from most other riders, except for the hardcore Harley guys. When I''m on the Ducati it's usually only the other crotchrockets that wave. I typically make a split second decision to wave back if I know it'll be reciprocated, otherwise I don't bother.
I took my wife's 911 out for a quick trip to the hardware store the other day and another Porsche driver did the wave. I had no idea these people had their own lil club.

A couple of years ago I was helping my niece move out of Brooklyn.
One Saturday morning we passed another U-haul and the tool gave me a wave.
The brotherhood of those too cheap to hire professional movers.
We waved at every u-haul we saw that day. :bye:

With a smoke in the hand controlling the wheel and a beer in the hand shifting I am safer driving than some idiot teen on a cell phone.

The BMW and other touring bikes I respected, those are not crotch rockets. I occasionally get a wave from another Bronco owner and I will either tip my hat or wave back.
Also, in East Texas around my property most everyone waves irregardless, just the friendly thing to do.
<font color="deeppink"> i didnt know u had a jeep...how did i not know this....no wonder i enjoy you so much
When I had my '48 I was a god amongst Jeep owners. I wish that thing was still running. It would cost way too much to fix up now with the under carriage rust and dropped cylinder.

Fully embarrassing. My wife used to have a jeep, and it was always satisfying to completely ignore any jeep douches that waved. I also hate fat old men and their Corvette clubs. Why do they all have to drive separately? Carpool, you un-green fucks.

A plus is that jeep owners will help other jeep owners in distress.
My buddy has a wrangler, the two times he has broken down he had jeep owners stop and help. I've had it happen once, same thing.
