He's on the show today and it couldn't be better!!!!!!

Who was that other guy they had before Southside Dan or something???

He was horrible.

Earl doesn't talk over the hosts and he has real opinions not made up shock jockery.

Lets get this new voice a place on the show!!!!!!!

If this is not a joke, you're an idiot.

stupid poll, but I do have to admit that ron and fez have been a lot better since their return, thanks in large part to Black Earl. The show hasn't been the same since he left. I'm glad he's back.

wish earl would've gone back to school, he'd make a great intern.

I'm not able to listen live. Has he said anything yet about "feeling weird"? That seems to come up every time he's on air. I'll go check the listening thread.

It's funny how we only remember the good times after a tumultuous relationship.

I suppose everyone forgot how Earl almost got Opie and Anthony (and maybe even Ron and Fez) fired when he "got knocked out" in studio and had them call an ambulance.

It was a lot of fun hearing Earl twice in the past 2 weeks and catching up, but anyone who honestly thinks he's radio gold is fooling themselves and has a very short memory.

In fairness, the pool boy was involved in that as well.

I think Earl is the same way as any Ron and Fez alumnus - good in small doses. If Staples came back everyone would be falling all over themselves, but the 2009 Billy is very different than the 2001 Billy.

Still pissed at Earl for his incompetents with the Hard Rock event. Making us stand in freezing cold while he tried so hard to setup a boxing ring. Rather have a bowl of soup for 3rd mike. BTW Earl will never get another job.

I think he sounds much more poised and quick these past couple times. But that is probably due to not dealing with the day to day duties he had on the show.

I enjoyed him on today's show and hope that he makes a regular appearance. I am a big ESD supporter but as someone said, variety is good. Fez even talked a bit more today.

Fez talked today because he was given the chance to participate. When ESD is in the studio he tramples all over Fez.

Earl was a very good guest today. Maybe he should do this more frequently.

i'd like earl back...
his fuck-ups made for great radio...

(i'm still waiting outside COMIX for my free tickets after the interview went bad,
i'm hoping they might 'appear' again)

but for opinion?

i seem to remember ron pointing out that earl leans into the mic alot
and then thinks better of it and says nothing...

and what happens when he faints again
and injures himself...?
(or makes believe he does)

Let's put it into perspective, Earl is the only person on earth who ever made Heaven sound like it sucked for all time. 'Holy Holy holy....' which was fucking fascinating listening to this maniac.
And you people don't want to listen to this crazy man?

I'm a big Earl fan it was great to hear him back on the air. Some of my favorite Ron and Fez moments are when he and Ron are just talking music.

Plus if Earl comes back maybe we could get that Ron Wood interview.

if earl came back to the show...

think of all the women he would never have
the time to date ?

he's probably out with a different woman every nite...

ding ding ding....I like Earl but if he was back as an employee it would be no time before he was the stuttering liar saying whatever he thought Ron wanted to hear Earl.
