Just a question for you people out there. I had a coworker who was very badly injured in an accident. She is going to be going through rehab for the next few months. Not knowing her at all would anyone be interested in making a small donation to help cover her medical bills? This isn't even set up yet but I am talking with some of my directors at work to see if this is possible. Feedback positive or negative would be appreciated. Also if you say no I wont think you are a dick.

Was your friend injured at work? If so, workers comp should foot the bill for treatment and temp disability.

Once you get the ball rolling let us know.
I've always found the members of RonFez.net to be a very generous lot.
Good luck and all the best to your injured friend.

I think there is always room in our budget to donate some money. And even a dollar goes along way if everyone chips in and donates. Maybe you should organize a benefit in your area for her too. That usually goes over well here in the Midwest, like a spaghetti dinner and raffle, that kind of thing.

We are doing that on a weekly basis (the company is helping a lot which makes me feel better). I would like to set something up so rf.net buddies can make a donation. Paypal tells me I need to set up a website. Has anyone done this before?

I've seen it done through paypal on another forum. I think poeple just put money into the guy's PP accnt and trusted he was doing the right thing with it.

I think the best thing to do is see if she had any good stuff to steal in her work area. Or see if you can get her job as a promotion.
