nathan was murdered at the end of the third season, and Sylar was kind of tricked, i believe, into becoming Nathan. I don't remember. Oh God, i regret knowing this.

So, when did Peter regain the ability to absorb powers again? I don't recall him being able to at the end of last season. At least not multiple powers. He was only able to gain one at a time.

I know they reduced the budget for Heroes, but it seems the only character of the core group who wasn't present last night was Mohinder. Is still on the show?

Couple of things:

1) It looks like they are setting up a Noah/Tracy relationship

2) Did Claire's mom get really really fat during the time off?

3) Peter's stupidity has rubbed off onto Claire, but at least she's entitled.

4) I'm kind of glad they are portraying Claire as a "regular girl" instead of some genius.

5) Two things on her roommate: a) they were going for the Willow on Buffy vibe and failing - she is not good looking at all and b) I'm willing to bet she's the one who killed the first roommate.

I stopped watching when Sylar had shapeshifting abilities and used them to be Noah's wfe. I turned it off right then and had no interest in going back or starting up with the new season.

The first season was great with a dozen people having rare abilities, but as the shows progressed, it got to the point where it seemed like someone in every family in the world has an ability. Just too much.

i kinda like the carnival people. the guy can with the ability to control earth is kinda interesting. i have no idea of their motives, but i'm sure it will lead to something that makes me angry.

What I don't get about the one power a time thing is: why didn't Peter lose his super speed when he shook hands with the carny guy last week? They showed him with the compass tattoo at the end of the episode, so he should have lost his super speed and gained whatever stupid power the carny guy has.

peter wanted to save the most amount of people as possible and thought the best way to do that was to be a paramedic

but also it appears the carney circus isnt real or it is but can somehow disappear like the one chick a few seasons back that could change the surroundings to look like whatever she wanted

i was afraid for a minute that once peter realized it wasnt nathan and it was sylar he'd go back to the warehouse to where nathans body was and heal him


luckily peter grabbed sylar nathan's arm and absorbed at least the flying power but ithink he absorbed all of sylars as well

This is a shame because its a great show, with colorful characters
interesting twists and a great plot.

We will never learn the answer to so many questions.

Sylar, Cheerleader, Parkman, ...so many great characters....

It was none of those things.
It had about 21 out of 23 good episodes of a first season and then shit the bed for a long while. It's only too bad they fucked up a good idea but that was a bunch of years ago.

This. The finale of the first season was the shark jump point, and everything since then was horrible.

We never got badass Hiro with a sword. We never got badass Peter, it was just whiny Peter with a scar. Parkman was always an idiot. Sylar had no motivation. Clare become one of most unlikable characters on TV.

you seem to be quite the heroes fan. I was a massive fan, but the show shot themselves in the dick by having a great first season followed by an awful, short second season (sure the writers strike, but that doesn't mean you can't write anything good, LOST was able to write something good). Third season had every element missing from the second season, but it's still not good. Poor writing, worse acting. Trust me, it pains me to say so. I even read NBC's online comic, watched the webisodes.

I didn't like 24, love LOST, and FlashForward just didn't hold my attention, though i liked the idea.

I think Heros may be the biggest TV fail in history. You go from the hottest show on TV to complete shit that no one cares to watch in about a year and a half.
I though the second season was OK considering, then they have one of the most anticipated seasons to be on for a while whole bunch of hype, and they fucked it all up.

I started this show pretty late, sometime after Season 3 had started. I loved the beginning of it, but when they started doing the time travel bit and completely re-inventing characters, my opinion of the show started dropping pretty quickly.

Is justified being canceled? dang. I will say that I was looking over the NBC fall line up (http://gawker.com/5540927/will-any-of-these-new-shows-save-nbc), and it looks solid. The Event has me hooked and Undercovers, by J.J. Abrams, looks pretty good.
