I forgot my favorite for a girl: Claudia. Except it would be pronounced more like the Spanish way, and her nickname would be "Cloudy".

I'm not planning to have kids but if I did, I'd want to name the boy Peter, after my dad. That point is non-negotiable.
I'm not so sure what I'd name a girl. My mom's name was Fedora but they called her Fenya. I always thought that was pretty.

Boys: Caleb,
My 12 year old is Caleb Joshua. Caleb is one of the more popular names now, but it wasn't 12 years ago. I could never find "Caleb" on toy license plates and pencils. Now, it's everywhere. I'm a trend setter.
Same thing goes for my 16 year old daughter. She's Kalee Cynthia Rose. You can't swing a Katelyn without hitting a Kalee, now (though most people spell it Kaylee).

Ah, my great grandfather's name was Caleb and he was the....er, greatest?
I dug him, he was as tall as a tree.
I hate baby name trends, i adored the names Liam and Aiden then all i ever heard mothers calling were these two names, totally ruined it.

you can enter a year and it will give ya the 10 most popular for the year based on Social Security records..
though most popular is far from most unique.
I always favored Jeremy, Joshua, Sebastian, Pascal, from the ones mentioned in this thread I love Miles, Nigel, Liam and Finn

I like Jeremy and Joshua as well.. I seem to favor "J" names for boys for some reason.
I also like Nigel.
Hate the name Miles though.
