I do claim to be a music guy and I have never listened to a Miles song. Any good?

Miles is a jazzer you need to know if you're gonna know anything about jazz. After many year of listening to jazz, I can say I respect, appreciate, and enjoy Miles' work but I no longer have urge to put his records on on a regular basis. There are plenty more interesting musicians out there. Miles was super cool (see Freddy Freeloader) and was an extraordinary band leader.

The Miles Davis Quintet, a classic lineup: Herbie Hancock - piano, Ron Carter - bass, Wayne Shorter - tenor sax, Tony Williams - drums, and of course Miles. Tony Williams was all of seventeen years old at the time.

This new collection looks incredible.
