Another one of these lists that help me keep track of things.....
Two people who come to mind recently are
Roman Polanski and Phil Spector....
Robert Blake also comes to mind...I have to check on how he's doing lately....
Of course when you fuck things up for yourself you usually fuck it up for everyone else.....
Hitler's probably the all time champ...I always remeber this little movie called Max in which the young Hitler was looking for artistic acceptance but couldn't manage it....so he fucked everything up.

Although I do agree that Roman Polanski did fuck things up for himself, he also had a lot of help from the Judge of his trial.
Yesterday on HBO there was a movie/documentary about his life up until the time he fled to France and that Judge was all about being at the forefront of the trial. It was called Roman Polanski: Wanted and desired. it was a very interesting perspective on the whole situation. They interviewed all the lawyers and even the victim.

Good call on OJ drjoek, now that is someone who didn't do any favors for himself.
